As I sit here writing this the most amazing smell is wafting thru my home. I’m burning one of Stevie’s Toasted Coconut candles, yuuuum!!! I love that I get to meet so many seriously creative people like Stevie in this job of mine!
Gorgeous little Archie gave us all a surprise and arrived 2 weeks early, so the day I met him was actually his due date! He is absolutely perfect and has the most delicious newborn fuzz on his cheeks. I just wanted to eat him up!! I think everyone was relieved when I decided to photograph him instead 😉
How nice has the Autumn weather been lately??? I recently travelled all the way out to Wandsworth on a beautiful sunny Autumn afternoon to meet this lovely family. Dora found me on Instagram and contacted me to come out and get some photos of their new little family. Elinor was adorable, such a gorgeous girl with a cheeky grin! 3 months old is such a great age, if you miss photos of the newborn phase, this is the next best thing!!!
With all this crazy wet weather we’ve been having lately, we had to delay Jypsi and Joel’s Maternity session for a few days, and even then it was basically raining right up until we started! I’m so grateful they didn’t mind walking through wet grass and getting muddy feet!
The Pine Forest is a favourite place of theirs so it seemed fitting to celebrate the impending arrival of their precious ‘rainbow’ baby by doing their photo session out there. Because the sky was still thick with clouds it was grey, dark and moody. Quite a contrast to the bright colours of the ‘rainbow’ they are waiting to meet in a few weeks time.
Jypsi, you’re glowing(and Joel, you’re adorable too!), I can’t wait to snuggle your little one.
As you might have heard, I’ve taken the plunge and booked a stall at the Seasons Market on 25 March! I’m excited and terrified all at once!
I’ll be there from 9am-4pm with plenty of beautiful images on display, details about my sessions, and a couple of comfy chairs if you need to rest from your shopping frenzy or charge your phone for a couple of minutes.
I’ll be there in person all day to answer any questions you might have, and to snuggle any passing babies(obviously!).
I’d love you to drop in and say ‘hi’ and as a little incentive to do so…..

After chatting to Che & Nicole for a while I realised that I’ve photographed quite a few of little Audrey’s cousins over the past few years! So cool!
I couldn’t believe just how adorable little Audrey is, I really wanted to put her in my pocket and take her home with me!! For some reason her mum & dad wouldn’t let me…weird huh!?! So I settled for lots of cuddles during her photo session instead. Ahh, newborn cuddles, they’re the best kind!
I met Samantha at one of my PBAP sessions last year. We had a great time chatting away at her session and I was so excited when I heard she was expecting again! Sam was a clever girl and got in touch while she was still pregnant to book in a newborn session for little Eden.
When I arrived at Sam &Tim’s place I couldn’t believe how grown up their eldest girl Indi looked now that she had a little sister! She was an excellent ‘assistant’ and loved pressing the button on my camera for me! Apart from that, we basically just hung out and chatted for the morning while I snapped away, and I managed to sneak in a couple of bebe snuggles too, of course!
I met these guys when they had their eldest boy, Rex. I was so nervous at their session because I was only just making the transition from super ‘posed’ newborns into a more relaxed ‘lifestyle’ feel. But, I needn’t have worried, they were so lovely and when I sent them a sneak peek of their images, they said “we love them all and can’t wait to book you in for our next baby!” Well, shucks, that’s how you make a girl blush!
Fast forward a little bit and along came Frank, right on his due date, just like his big brother! How awesome is that?!
It was an absolutely stinking hot day when I traveled out to Gunnedah but thankfully we were able to chill out in the air-con(ha, see what I did there?) and have a few snuggles…actually, I might have hogged all the snuggles. Mmmmm, baby snuggles…
A long, loooong time ago, we met this lovely young couple and instantly became great friends. We had kids, then they had kids. Then one day we moved away, and life moved on. But over the years we always kept in touch, meeting up every so often.
I wish I could tell you what great parents they are, and what great kids they are raising, and just how stinkin’ adorable they all are!
With their kids fresh from sleepovers at friends places, we met up at our old stomping grounds and had a chilled out beach session and a bit of a catch-up chat. Perfection.
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve photographed this family but lets just say, I’ve known their girls since they were babies. And yet, I still get excited every time they get in touch to book more family photos!!
I’m a firm believer that your ‘vibe’ attracts your ‘tribe’, and this family is proof of that. They totally trust me to pick the location and time. And they know that I love ‘dad’ jokes and am a bit wacky, and yet they don’t seem to mind a bit 😀
The girls are adorable, and Mitch & Jocelyn are, well, gorgeous! I was so excited to get permission to shoot at this beautiful orchard because I knew it would be just perfect! Enjoy! And don’t forget to leave this lovely family a bit of love in the comments if you enjoyed their photos <3
This family were ah-dooooor-able! No, really! Any time little Henry needed attention, his big brother & sister fussed over him, cuddled him, and played with him. It was gorgeous to see siblings that clearly love each other so much. And even though this session was about having the whole family together, I think you’ll agree that little Henry stole the show…
