When Kara contacted me to organise this session as a present for her hubby Oliver, I was so excited! I mean, getting to photograph little Alyssa gain? Yes, please! We had fun with lots of snuggles and giggles, and we even found an anthill to poke with a stick!
‘If you go down to the woods today, you’re in for a big surprise….’
Talissa, Zach & I went on a ‘bear hunt’ in the forest recently. It was such a surprisingly warm evening, especially considering the crazy weather we’ve had over the past week! We had a lovely wander around, exploring paths along the way and it was gorgeous to see how much Zach loves his mama, so many cuddles xoxo
Kasey contacted me recently when her regular photographer wasn’t able to fit her in and I’m so glad she did! We met up out at the Pine Forest just as the weather started to turn cool. It was mostly overcast but the sun peeped thru the clouds for a few minutes every now and then and gave us lovely little bits of golden light. I know lots of photographers run a mile at the thought of photographing toddlers, but I absolutely love it! They are so full of energy and mischief, we always have so much fun and Alice was no exception!
Ashlee contacted me last year while she was pregnant to book in a newborn shoot for Leo. We’ve been in touch on & off since then so I was super excited to hear he had finally arrived safe and sound. Ashlee was a little concerned that her house wouldn’t be bright enough because they live in a beautiful older style Armidale home, but when I arrived there I knew it would be perfect!
I absolutely love photographing toddlers during the first few weeks after a new baby arrives. The unsurety of having a new little person in their lives, pushing the boundaries of independence, while still being ‘babies’ themselves. So much to love!
I can’t believe how many new babies there are in Armidale at the moment!!! Everywhere I look there is one cute newborn after another, I love it!!
Considering how many photographers there are in the New England area, when I get Clients who come back to me again & again for photos I go all ‘puffy heart’ eyed. And when the Clients are as gorgeous as these guys I pretty much do a fist pump too! 😀
I first met this family about 18 months ago for some family photos, and now that they have another little cutie to add to their family they had to get some newborn photos done too.
We kept things relaxed, because well, when you photograph toddlers there’s no other way to do it, you’ve just gotta roll with it… Meet gorgeous Jarrah and her big sister Billy xoxo
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve photographed this family now, it must be 3 or 4 at least! I love heading back to my old ‘stomping ground’ on the North Shore of Sydney and catching up with them, we always have fun 🙂
If you, or anyone you know, are interested in booking an at-home, chilled-out, family session like this one the next time I’m in Sydney, feel free to email me for more details: firstname.lastname@example.org
I hadn’t seen this lovely family since their last little one was born almost 4 years ago and I love it so much that they chose to come back to me again for photos!!! Mia & Patrick were so hands-on with their new brother and little Archie was so laid-back and un-bothered by all the lovin’ he was getting from them. It was so cute to watch!
Last week was kinda crazy with three sessions in three days in two different towns! First up was this lovely family. We’d been trying to make a date that worked for both of us for a couple of months now, and we finally did it! Love that we were able to get a nice mix of indoor and outdoor shots. This little munchkin was such a cutie, I mean, those leg rolls!!! Made me want to eat her up!
