Kellie & Phoebe (14 months)
“When I first started breastfeeding I would always cover up & worry that I was offending someone.”
Then I met a wonderful lady who happily fed her bub without worrying what people thought. That’s all I needed, a little push to not be afraid to feed my baby in public. Phoebe is now 14 months old and I am continuing to breastfeed in public.
“Adults drink in public, so our babies should be allowed to as well!”
I loved everything about my PBAP session! Meeting other lovely mummas, chatting to Leanda the photographer(who is also a lovely mumma), and most of all enjoying the support.
“Breastfeeding can be overwhelming but when you have the support from other mummas it makes a world of difference!”
Breastfeeding is wonderful and those who are able should embrace it. It gives you a connection to your children like no other.
I’ve heard so much negativity towards breastfeeding in public so I wanted to show my support by participating in a PBAP session and I would definitely recommend it to other mummas.
